Prior to working at BMI: Chris Worked as a yacht captain and yacht charter fleet manager. He has logged thousands of miles sailing a wide variety of boats from Canada to the Carribbean and many places in between.
When not at work: Chris enjoys sailing all over the New England waters with his wife, dog and two kids on their Morris 36.
Fun fact: Chris likes dogs, rowing and the Red Sox


Jarrett Grobleski, Service Manager

Certifications: USCG 50 Ton Captain's Lisense, ABYC Marine Electrical Certification, NMEA Marine Electronics Installer
Prior to working at BMI: Worked in commercial and residential construction in the Boston area.
When not at work: Jarrett can be found fishing or sailing somewhere in southern New England.
Fun fact: Jarrett enjoys riding his single speed mountain bike in local state parks and knows his way around a kitchen.


Juan Pablo Reluz, Yacht Maintenance Technician

Prior to working at BMI: Juan worked for a boat builder in Japan.
When not at work: Juan enjoys playing the bass guitar and the button accordion. He also enjoys reading books on animals and philosophy.
Fun fact: Juan speaks 4 languages, has traveled to 14 countries, and has sailed from Fukuoka, Japan to Busan, S. Korea and all over the New England coast.


Alex Yakimovets, Yacht Systems Technician

Prior to working at BMI: Alex worked as a bicycle repairman and as an adventurer in the Amur River Wilderness.
When not at work: Alex enjoys foraging for mushrooms, ferns, apples and other eatable things in East Boston. He claims world class mushrooms can be found under a certain tree near the Airport Hyatt.
Fun fact: Alex lives aboard his C&C 36 in Boston Harbor with his wife, dog and infant son.


Jenny Hogan, Operations Manager

Education: University of Vermont | BA Sociology & Psychology
Years of service at Birch Marine: 4
Prior to working at Birch Marine: Jenny worked for Tenacity, an after school tennis and literacy program in Boston. She also nannied for a wonderful family in Brookline for many years.
When not at work: Jenny enjoys yoga, photography, cycling, camping and pond hockey.
Fun fact: Jenny played ice hockey for the UVM Catamounts and has hiked to the top of Half Dome.
